PLANES:FIRE AND RESCUE

A Macaroni Kid Decatur Review

By Nefertiti M Williams July 19, 2014
Planes:Fire & Rescue (Not Planes 2, as my son keeps reminding me) flew into theaters yesterday, July 18th and you should definatley take the Macaronis. I had the opportunity to take my two last week for an advance screening. We get invited to quite a few advance movie screenings, but this is one that both my kids were begging to see!

Dusty and his old pals are together again, but the movie really is about him and some new friends. Because of some things you'll see in the movie, Dusty has decided to help out and become an aerial firefighter. In his journey to get certifiied he has a few challenges, but as Disney Pixar always does there is lesson that he and your Macaroni learns. It's a lesson of courage, of honor, of selflessness. All that from a movie, you say? Yes. It's a great a tribute to firefighters and through some friendly (and not so friendly) aircraft and all terrain vehicles your MacKids get to see firefighters in action.

It definatley has the Macaroni Kid Decatur seal of approval! Go see it today! Perfect activity for today's rainy day.

It is rated PG and has a tentative running time of 78 minutes.
