Zaryn and I had an opportunity to go to The Atlanta Ballet's Opening Night Performance of The Nutcracker and as aslways it was a real treat! I say this every year, but I must say it again The Nutcracker is our favorite Holiday Treat! And it is indeed a treat! We started the night with a walk on "The Red Carpet". Zaryn was thrilled to hear she'd not only get to see her favorite holiday performance, but also walk the red carpet. She actually asked me "Who am I wearing? I need to know, in case they ask me." You have to love that!
You'll be delighted by your favorite scences, you'll clap along while watching Mother Matrushka and the nesting dolls, you'll laugh out loud with our three favorite Russian dancers, during Trepak, you'll be in awe of one of my personal favorite Arabian duo and you'll shake your head at the mischievous Nicholas, but you'll also be surprised by some special effects that keep the show new and fresh. Magical even.
