I have the 411 on the Delta Community Credit Union Scholarship program. Thank goodness I got this information because the deadline to apply from Saturday, March 31st. For more information visit here.
According to their website, the eligibility requirements are as follows:
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:
- Be a Delta Community member and primary account holder in good standing at the time of application submission (no delinquent loans, overdrawn or charged off accounts at the time the award is given, etc.). Not a member? Open an account and become one today.
- Be enrolled to attend an accredited college or university during the fall of the academic year as a full-time student pursuing their first undergraduate degree. Scholarship award must be used during the specified academic year.
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) as of the end of the prior semester.
There is also a Delta Community Credit Union and KISS 104.1 HBCU Scholarship available as well. The application period for this scholarship opens in May so b sure to check back here.
