Let us show ATL Free Fridge love and help keep it loaded, clean, sanitized, funded, and welcoming.  Did you know ATL Free Fridge was formerly known as Free 99 Fridge? Do you remember Free 99 Fridge? It was a massive successful movement which was started during the pandemic to help those who needed it the most. Fast forward. This mutual aid project grew beyond belief and the founder, LaTisha Springer, was extremely successful in getting food, school supplies, hygiene products, and more to the masses in Atlanta, Decatur, and Clarkston. At its height, there were as many as five locations and over a thousand volunteers and donors.

In January of 2023, Free 99 Fridge became ATL Free Fridge as LaTisha stepped aside, and hand-selected North Decatur Presbyterian Church to carry the vision on as she moved to Africa. Let me tell you North Decatur Presbyterian Church has done an excellent job in taking things to the next level. They are down to one fridge and operate like a fine-tuned orchestra with volunteers and even a case manager, Mr.Anderson, was hired by the church to help assist with needs beyond the fridge food such as housing, counseling, other resource connections, etc.

ATL Free Fridge still needs assistance though. With as many hands on deck as possible it would be even more amazing.  Think of volunteering or donating or cooking for our neighbors as we affectionately call them.
