From mini-monsters to grown-up ghouls, all are invited to celebrate Fernbank’s spirited, fun-filled exhibit, activities and events, including opportunities to enjoy both daytime and special evening hours.

Woodland Spirits
Sept. 30 – Nov. 5 | Open daily
Get in the Halloween spirit with this seasonal outdoor exhibit, featuring a variety of ghostly figures lurking throughout WildWoods and Fernbank Forest.
Cost: Included with general admission. Members free!
Ghostly Gatherings
Saturday, Oct. 14 | 7 - 10 p.m.
Enjoy after-hours access to Woodland Spirits, the special exhibit Vikings: Warriors of the Sea, Halloween-themed activities, opportunities to meet live nocturnal animals with AWARE Wildlife Center, and more. Drinks, including adult beverages, and a variety of snacks will be available for purchase.
Cost: $14.95 for members and $19.95 for non-members.

"Woodland Spirits and Other Musical Creatures" — A Family Concert
Sunday, Oct. 15 | 1 p.m.
"Woodland Spirits and other Musical Creatures," as performed by pianist Julie Coucheron, harpist Elisabeth Remy-Johnson, flutist James Zellers and the Vega Quartet, is a family concert that includes the music of Eduard MacDowell and Valerie Von Pechy Whitcup.

Monster Mash
Saturday, Oct. 28 | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Put on your best costume and bring the little ghosts and goblins for fun Halloween-themed activities and treats.

Fernbank After Dark: Boos and Booze
Friday, Oct. 13 | 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Fernbank’s adult science night gives Halloween vibes with science stations, ghoulish cocktails (for purchase), music, nighttime viewings of Woodland Spirits, full museum access and more! Ages 21+ only.

Fright Night

Have a screaming-good time at this annual adults-only Halloween event featuring dancing, a costume contest, DJ and more.
