Our Spidey Senses are Tingling - Spiders — From Fear to Fascination

Join us for a special spider lecture to complement the grand opening of Spiders — From Fear to Fascination on Saturday, February 10th. As part of the opening-day festivities, learn from Dr. Linda Rayor, a key contributor to the special exhibit, all about spiders’ unusual biology, their importance to the natural and human world, and how spiders’ venom is being used in fields like medicine and agriculture. This lecture will take place from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. 

Presenter/Lecturer: Dr. Linda S. Rayor, Cornell University; human star of “Monster Bug Wars”; and President of the American Arachnological Society

Join us to hear the hidden stories of the spiders featured in the exhibit.  Lecture tickets do not include museum or giant screen film admission but full Fernbank access before the lecture is available with General Admission tickets.

Presented in conjunction with the special exhibition Spiders — From Fear to Fascination.
