Join us for a day where comfort meets discovery, and enjoy the museum and a movie in a setting that’s been carefully curated for sensory accessibility, a sequence of sensory-aware events, tailored for individuals with sensory sensitivities or unique needs who prefer a more tranquil setting. These events will offer:
- Early Museum Entry at 9 a.m.: Gain access to the museum’s indoor displays and the serene WildWoods nature trails an hour before the usual opening time, allowing for a peaceful exploration experience.
- Sensory-Adapted Giant Screen Film at 10:15 a.m.: Experience a film in our Giant Screen Theater, thoughtfully adjusted with softer lighting, reduced sound levels, and without the need for 3D glasses, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience. The film selection changes with each event.
