The storm will pass, and Fernbank will open at noon. Hurricane Helene certainly made an entrance, living up to her dramatic reputation. It’s amusing if you know the history of hurricanes with female names.
Please note, Fernbank will be open from noon until 5 pm for general admission, and but later from 6 pm until 9 pm as originally scheduled. Normal operating hours will resume this weekend, starting Saturday, September 28th. Stay updated on Fernbank’s hours, as operations may change based on the storm’s impact.
