What a Feeling!!!

Macaroni Review of Flashdance: The Musical

By Nefertiti M. Williams February 7, 2013
I had the opportunity to go to the opening night of Flashdance: The Musical on Tuesday night and Oh "What a Feeling" it left me with!!  Talk about nostalgic......This show started from the very first act with energy.  Dancing and singing that had me and everyone in the Fox having our own Flashdance experience in our seats.  And it never stopped. And when I tell you they were dancing on stage....they were dancing on stage...straight 80's full impact dancing.

And you'll hear some of your favorites from the 80's.  You won't be able to join the performers (and the entire Fox Theatre), as they belt out "Maniac", "I Love Rock and Roll", and "Flashdance-What a Feeling".

And don't worry your favorite scenes from the movie make it to the stage.  There will be water and a chair....and there will be the famous audition moves (you know with the arms) that we all love.  Yep l lost myself and actually started doing reenact those moves in my chair.

I urge you to put on your leg warmers and headbands and flash down to the Fox Theatre before it leaves Atlanta on Februaury 10th.  It is a fantastic show.

Just a quick Macaroni note- It is based on the movie, so if you plan on taking your Macaronis, know that they is some profanity and a little smooching in the show...Just wanted you to know. :-)
